Emerson Announces New Branson Welding Workstations To Simplify Deployment of Welded Component Production

Configurable features maximize operator productivity

DANBURY, CONN. (May 7, 2018) — Emerson is introducing modular, custom engineered Branson welding workstations to simplify deployment of clean, secure and ergonomic areas for production of high-value components for a range of industries.

Each modular workstation is highly configurable, featuring a height-adjustable, anodized-aluminum worktable and an ergonomic platform that allows weld-system operators to work comfortably in a seated or standing position. The worktable offers ample room for positioning Branson ultrasonic, laser and spin welding equipment, ancillary equipment and work supplies to meet varied application requirements. The worktable incorporates integral sound abatement to isolate and minimize production noise, as well as a sliding panel and lock for security.

Branson welding workstations are engineered to meet Category III safety requirements and are pre-wired, making them “plug and play” ready for manufacturing operations. They may also be customized with a range of features to maximize productivity, operator ease and safety. These include an optional bar-code reader, special hand or foot activated switches, “good/bad” weld indicator lights, an electric worktable lift, movable footrest and more.
